Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MacroSwap handles information in connection with the MacroSwap mobile application, website, early-access list, and support services.
Accounts and information stored on your device
MacroSwap does not currently require users to create an account. Meal, nutrition, grocery, and preference data are intended to remain locally on the user’s device unless otherwise stated in the app or this policy.
Because local app data is not held in MacroSwap company servers, MacroSwap generally cannot access or export that data. Removing the app or clearing its local storage may remove locally stored information.
Information MacroSwap may receive
MacroSwap may receive limited information when you join an early-access list, contact support, submit feedback, or interact with a third-party service used to operate the app or website. This may include your name, email address, device type, the content of your message, and technical details you choose to provide.
MacroSwap does not claim to collect no data. The information received depends on how you interact with the service and which optional services you use.
Purchases and subscriptions
If purchases or subscriptions are offered, payment and subscription information may be processed by Apple and RevenueCat. MacroSwap may receive limited purchase status or entitlement information needed to provide paid features, but does not receive your full payment-card details from Apple.
Website early-access list
When you join the website early-access list, MacroSwap receives your email address, device choice, fitness goal, and any optional name you provide. The website may also record the submission time, landing and referring pages, campaign or creator codes, website language, and general browser or device category. For abuse prevention, the server stores a keyed one-way hash derived from the network address rather than the raw address. This information is used to manage early access, understand which campaigns lead visitors to MacroSwap, prevent abuse, and send testing or launch updates.
Website waitlist submissions are separate from nutrition data stored by the MacroSwap app. Early-access information is processed through MacroSwap’s Cloudflare-hosted website and stored in its private Cloudflare D1 database; it is not stored only on your device. MacroSwap does not ask for meal, nutrition, grocery, medical, or other sensitive information through the waitlist form.
Email, analytics, and support services
Cloudflare and other infrastructure providers may process website and database information as necessary to host, secure, and operate the service. If optional confirmation email or website analytics is enabled, the relevant provider may process the information needed to deliver that service. Analytics events do not include your name or email address.
Use and retention
Information MacroSwap receives may be used to operate and improve the service, respond to requests, manage early access, measure campaign effectiveness, prevent abuse, address security or legal obligations, and communicate about testing or launch availability. Waitlist records are retained while early access and launch communications remain relevant, unless longer retention is legally required or you request deletion. You may request removal as described below.
Your choices and requests
You may request access, correction, or deletion of information you directly provided to MacroSwap, such as a waitlist email, support email, or feedback submission. See the Data Request page for details.
Children’s privacy
MacroSwap is not directed to children under the age required to consent to data processing in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child provided personal information directly to MacroSwap, contact us so the request can be reviewed.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as MacroSwap evolves. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
